Montana State Bobcats to Host Idaho Vandals in FCS Quarterfinals
The Montana State University Bobcats will face the University of Idaho Vandals in the FCS quarterfinals at Bobcat Stadium on Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m.
Montana State, the top-ranked team, aims to extend its undefeated streak to 14 games after a stellar season that crowned them Big Sky Conference champions. The Bobcats earned a first-round playoff bye and dominated Tennessee-Martin 49-17 in the second round.
The No. 8 Idaho Vandals advanced by defeating Lehigh 34-13 in the second round. The teams previously met in October, where Montana State secured a decisive 38-7 conference win.
The winner will progress to the FCS semifinals to face the victor of the Dec. 14 game between No. 4 South Dakota and No. 5 UC Davis.
