Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 have announced that Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, originally released for PlayStation 3 in 2008, will soon be available on Android and iOS smartphones. The mobile version is set to launch on September 25, 2024.
The game follows the story of Naruto, a ninja aspiring to become Hokage during his childhood, featuring 25 playable characters and recreating key battles from the manga and anime. Players will undertake various missions, explore the Hidden Leaf Village, and engage in multiple mini-games.
According to Bandai Namco, the mobile version of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm will include several new features: auto-save, a new battle control mode (casual or manual), casual battle assistance, and enhanced movement and battle mechanics.
Additionally, players will benefit from improved tutorial experiences and a “try again” feature if they fail any mission. However, the game will not support online battles; users will need to connect to the internet only to download the game and back up or transfer saved data. Players can enjoy all other features offline.
Since its inception in 2008, the franchise has released five main installments and various remastered versions over the years. The latest entry, Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm CONNECTIONS, was released in 2023, aiming to cover the complete story from Naruto’s childhood to his son Boruto’s journey.
