Georgia vs. Georgia Tech Week 14: Time, TV channel today

Rivalry games ignite passion, and it’s no different for Georgia and Georgia Tech, schools just 70 miles apart known for their physical football style.

“We need a seeking-contact attitude and to enjoy a street fight,” said Georgia coach Kirby Smart. “You learn a lot about yourself against a physical team like this.”

Georgia (9-2), ranked No. 8 in the coaches poll and No. 7 in CFP, recently struggled defensively, allowing 226 rushing yards to UMass in a 59-21 victory. Georgia Tech (7-4) boasts a strong ground game, exceeding 225 rushing yards in four games and posting 272 passing yards in last week’s win over N.C. State.

Georgia linebacker CJ Allen stressed defensive precision, noting the importance of gap discipline against Tech’s run-heavy offense. Meanwhile, Tech center Weston Franklin fueled the rivalry, expressing his “strong dislike” for Georgia and aiming to secure the “state championship.”

The game airs nationally on ABC in Week 14, with Joe Tessitore, Jesse Palmer, and Katie George on the call. Streaming is available on ESPN+ and FUBO.
