Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau’s production company, Aetios Productions, is launching a new competition to award four scholarships to future secondary education teachers and nursing students. The company, known for producing popular television series such as Virginie, 30 vies, and STAT, announced on Saturday that it will grant four scholarships, each worth up to $15,000. Two of these scholarships will be awarded to individuals planning to pursue a degree in secondary education, while the remaining two will be given to those entering a nursing program.
The health and education sectors are currently facing significant demand for skilled professionals in Quebec, making this initiative particularly timely and impactful. The producers, Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau, highlighted in their press release that these sectors have been central to many of Aetios Productions’ major successes. They expressed their commitment to investing $60,000 annually into this new scholarship competition as a proud step towards addressing the pressing needs in these critical fields.
The scholarship competition will involve a rigorous selection process. A jury will evaluate applications based on several criteria, including the applicants’ motivation, career goals, perseverance, financial needs, and any relevant circumstances they present. This evaluation process will ensure that the most deserving candidates receive the financial support they need to advance their education and contribute to the vital sectors of health and education.
Applications for the scholarships will open this Sunday on Aetios Productions’ official website. Interested individuals will have until October 15 to submit their applications. The review of applications will continue until November 15, with the final evaluation and selection of winners taking place by December 15. Successful applicants will be notified during the week of December 16, 2024.
This initiative underscores Aetios Productions’ commitment to supporting education and addressing the critical needs of the health and education sectors in Quebec. The scholarships aim to assist future professionals in these fields, ensuring they have the resources and support necessary to excel in their careers and make a significant impact in their respective areas.
