Antetokounmpo’s 38 points push Bucks to 85-84 lead after three.

The Milwaukee Bucks aim for their first back-to-back wins as they face the Detroit Pistons tonight at Fiserv Forum. The Bucks rallied from a 13-point halftime deficit, leading 85-84 after the third quarter, with Gary Trent Jr. scoring eight points and Giannis Antetokounmpo adding 10. Detroit’s Isaiah Stewart was ejected after a Flagrant 2 foul on Antetokounmpo. Despite Antetokounmpo’s 28 points on 10-of-17 shooting, his teammates combined for a low 22% shooting rate before halftime, leaving the Bucks trailing 60-47.

Earlier this week, Milwaukee (3-8) defeated Toronto without Damian Lillard, who is currently in concussion protocol after being struck in the head during the Nov. 10 game against Boston. Lillard reported symptoms and was ruled out after experiencing headaches. Although his availability for tonight’s game was uncertain, the Bucks confirmed he would not play.

According to NBA concussion policy, a player diagnosed with a concussion must be monitored for 24 hours before resuming physical activity, with a minimum 48-hour recovery period. The Pistons, now 5-7 under new coach JB Bickerstaff, are showing improvement, recently defeating Miami in Detroit.
